There was one revision of a patch that had slimes spawning in massive quantities, which was probably what you hit. Unfortunately they don't despawn, so you're stuck with them until you clean them up.
I think the biggest issue here is that you're stuck looking for a chunk that will actually spawn the slimes in the first place. That is a supreme pain in the ass. |

So im guessing we need to wait on updating to the bug fix patch. Let us know when server is updated. |

I just updated to 1.7.3 for te bug fix and can still login to server. So looks like we are good |

the funny thing is it didnt spawn in my slime farm which i just found out is useless unless i find a chunk that spawns slimes

Server i believe has crashed.....it was experiencing alot of lag earlier and now connection errors.
Off to work hopefully Tullen will have it running again soon. |

Yeah, a lot of complaints from other server owners that 1.7 has stability issues. If they don't fix it soon, I might write a workaround. Server is back up now. |
