====Guild Application====

1. What is the name of your main as well as level and class?
Mashy - Mage Level 80

2. What is your age?
I'm 22 =)

3. What guilds have you been with in the past, and why did you leave them, please provide as much detail as necessary.
Advantage is the latest raiding guild. Took a break since september up until last month. Had full naxx heroic gear when i left which was obviously useless when i returned hehe.

4. Do you have any friends currently in Scalebane? If so, who & how do you know them? (Family, real life friend, etc.)
Alfalfa! <3, he was in Advantage with me prior to joining Scalebane. I did a random pug with people from Scalebane last week and ended up stayin your vent talkin with them for 4hrs can't remember thier names tho (apologies!). They advised to me join and i said I'd think about it =). Hottamale also advised me to join you.

5. What best describes you now that you're level 80 (or once you are 80)?
Definitely "A". Just wanna have fun with people really. People are what make events, raids etc fun and make the game worth playing. Getting gear is also fun and progessing through the content and exploring different aspects of the game.

A. I like to socialize, mess around, or whatever I'm in the mood for that day.
B. I like to raid mostly, & I pvp on the side (or not at all).
C. I like to pvp mostly, & I raid on the side (or not at all).
D. I like to level characters & professions.
E. Other/Explain.

6. Are you interested in raiding 25 man content on Tuesday/Thursdays 11p-1am and Saturday 11p-3am? If so, how often do you think you would attend?
I'm Irish so im 5hrs ahead of raid times. But its the summer right now so i dont have university getting in the way. 11pm is 4am for me. Saturdays definitely. Tues/Thurs possibly but not sure to be honest.

7. Can you give us a brief summary of what your armor & weapons are like (can use Gearscore if you want) or provide a link to your armory page?

Have 2 heroic pieces and and apart from my wrists and 1 trinket everything is from within icecrown Citadel.

8. Can you describe what raiding experience you have? Are you familiar with current raid content?
ICC10/26 6/12. Havent been further that Professor Putricide. Only half way i know but I'm not stupid and I learn fast.

9. What role do you wish to perform while raiding? (Healer, Tank, DPS). Are you able to perform other roles if needed?
Mage - So no I'm limited to DPS

10. What made you want to apply to Scalebane?
Tired of getting to Professor Putricide in pugs an never getting further lol?... The people on vent the other week were good fun I enjoyed pugging the event with them. Alfalfa and Hottamale also think I should.

11. Do you have any friends or family that will apply to Scalebane if you are recruited?
Yes. Chayle. Level 80 Warlock. 5500~ GS currently. Chayle, Hottamale (tamizzle) and my myself have been playing mmorpg's together for 5 years now since FFXI.

12. Are you currently applying to other guilds?
No.

13. Are there any situations in the past that may affect your reputation that you would like to explain?
Nope none at all I am squeky clean.

14. Are you the original owner of your account, and are you the only one who plays your character?
Yes i am. and no one has access to my account but me.

15. Finally, tell us a little about yourself. We're first and foremost a guild about people, People > Loot. =)

Im 22 from Ireland. irish love the booze thats no myth. no my hair is not red and neither is the vast vast majorty of the population of ireland hehe. I speak english, french, german and my native gaelic. I'm half way through studying for my degree which is a BSc in Industrial Biochemistry. I play this game for fun and entertainment which is derived from the people I play it with, not the mobs I kill or gear I accumulate. You will always find me on vent when im online =) Just generally easy goin an relaxed. Love doin the old school dungeons just for the fun of it. random stuff!

When I vouch for someone, its only for people whom I feel would be a great fit for the guild. With that said, Mashy and I were guildies in Advantage; it was a smaller guild but everyone had a good time busting each others balls and having fun. Not only is Mashy a monster at dpsing, hes a great guy in general. I really beleive Mashy would be a great asset to Scalebane, and he definitely knows his class well.

PS He is also Irish, so he can probably drink most of you under the table:P

So far, I believe I'm the only one who actually does better when smashed.

only things i see wrong is :

1. way over hit cap for arcane
2. you have a pvp meta gem in your pve helm
3. spirit enchant on your boots

fixes:

hit:
since you get heroic presence you need around 184-210 hit and you have 392

meta gem:
the best meta for mages arcane, fire or frost is Chaotic Skyflare Diamond
(+21 Critical Strike Rating and 3% Increased Critical Damage)

boot enchant:

Tuskarr's Vitality (15 stamina/8% run speed) or Icewalker (12 hit rating/12 critical strike rating)

ide say since you have the speed boost in your meta you should go with tuskarrs since you really dont need the hit from icewalker
(this is for after you drop the meta you have and put the crit meta in if you want to keep your speed boost)

other than that from a PVE aspect you look good, good luck with your app

I'm aware I have to much hit that is however unavoidable without a drastic cut to my gearscore and overall damage. I do however have 1005 haste to make up for it.

Yea hit can be a bitch to get rid of, especially if you only get to Professor

I'll vouch for him, he. Was pulling 7k dps last night in a heroic.... drinking me under the table though I have a problem with.... not safe for us to try either tbh... wed both end up in the hospital
