Ok, so how I understand it is this. As CEO, I need to eventually set up projects/jobs. The goal being to equip our members as well as make profit for the corp/everyone. We start by picking a blueprint for something we either want to equip someone with who needs it, or sell for profit.
We then set up a mining operation to get all the materials, the miners mine the needed mats. These are stored in an anchored giant secure cargo container that we use an industrial cargo ship to move to the asteroid belt. Once it's full we bring it back to our corporate hanger.
There the researchers and manufacturors, build the item, which is either given to the people that need it or sold. During all this our combat division will guard the miners and escort the industrial ships back to the hanger with ore. They could also be called on to escort the industrial ship with the finished product. Their role becomes much more important as we start operations in less secure space (where of course the profit is much higher).
When we're selling things for profit, the corp itself usually keeps 50% and the remaining 50% is split amongst those who helped. The corps 50% will be invested into the more expensive blueprints and better equipment to use on future projects, as well as paying upkeep on things like the corporate hangers. The idea being that eventually we'll each be able make more money and get better equipment from these jobs than we could ever get on our own. |

As I start researching I will also get blueprints from the research projects, or I can decline them and my points will go into a blue print lottery sorta... |
